Do you Know Rajinikanth's Hollywood Debut Movie which released in 1988

Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, who is predominantly known as Rajinikanth to the Indian Cinema. He started his Cinema career in 1975 while working as a conductor in Bangalore Transport Service. He has appeared in a total of 170 movies till Kabali.

Rajinikanth is the only actor to appear on Black & White, Colour, 3D and Animation Movies. His movies released in different languages starring Tamil, Telugu, Bengali,Kannada,Malayalam. His Unique style earned a lot of Fans and established Strong Fan base all over the world.

But every Rajini fans dream is to see their star in Hollywood. Surprisingly Rajinikanth made his Hollywood movie debut a long ago in 1988. And that Movie is BloodStone. 

In BloodStone, Rajini appeared as Shyam Sabu, a typical Taxi Driver who helps in rescue of Heroine and recovers the Rare diamond BloodStone. However this film got 36% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 4.5 rating on IMDB. But this film fared well commercially only beause it's Rajinikanth's Hollywood Debut.

Storyline of Rajinikanth Hollywood Movie Bloodstone :

The story of Bloodstone is all about a Glory Indian Diamond which is looted by British and smuggled to India. The Dutch people comes to India in search of Bloodstone. An American tourist couple (Bret Stimley & Anna Nicholas) unexpectedly becomes part of the crime. Then enters Shyam Sabu a taxi driver who rescues heroine from Dutch people and recovers Bloodstone diamond.

And the Climax ends surprisingly after they discover Bloodstone is not original diamond but just a piece of glass and the mystery of Real Bloodstone continues.

And the most interesting fact is Bloodstone is the Hollywood debut for the famous Music Director Illayaraja. Yes you heard it right. Illayaraja gave music for Bloodstone. This is fantastic news for Rajini fans right. Yes it is.
