Vijay plays the role of Marudheeran having super powers and tries to save the tribal people from the evil queen Yavana Rani (Sridevi) who is commanded by wicked Thalapathy Jalatharangan (Sudeep).
How he reached the tribal village as a kid and how he saved that village from the clutches of Evil Queen is the rest of the story.
